ABOUT THE AUXÍLIO BRASIL AND BOLSA FAMÍLIA PROGRAM
It is a direct income transfer program, aimed at families living in poverty and extreme poverty throughout the country, so that they can overcome their situation of vulnerability and poverty.
The program seeks to guarantee these families the right to food and access to education and health.
Throughout Brazil, more than 13.9 million families are served by Bolsa Família and Auxílio Brasil is expected to serve more than 16 million families.

Families in poverty or extreme poverty.
TARGET PUBLIC OF THE PROGRAM
The target population of Auxílio Brasil and Bolsa Família are families living in poverty or extreme poverty.
The selection of families is carried out by the Ministry of Citizenship based on data entered by city halls in the Single Registry of Social Programs of the Federal Government. The selection is monthly, and the criteria used are the family composition and the income of each member.
If your family is among those selected, you can count on the help of the program. The value will be according to the type of benefit for your family profile.
